PASTORAL ORDINATION DIVISION
In order to better respond to the biblical mandate that we are to care for one another, the Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries Inc. seek to support and provide educational service to those who are in Christian ministry. In particular, we seek to equip pastors, ministers, professional and lay counselors to provide highly effective and biblically sound pastoral care and counseling. Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries Inc. offer biblically based and theologically sound training in the field of Christian Counseling and also offer certification programs to laypersons, vocational pastors, and professional counselors and therapists. Licensing is given in the response of the individual ministers or practices of the applicant following a information review. Through an Independent Ecclesial Bodies formed of Senior Bishops, the Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries Inc. can provide you with appropriate credentials and the opportunity to affiliation with a legitimate source for Ordination and Ministerial Credentials. Our Ordination and Ministerial Credentials are open to any person who can demonstrate to the Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries Inc. Ordination Board that they are in fact called of God to the Ministry of the Church and Christian Counseling. Gender or Education is not the primary concern of the Board. The Candidates for Ordination and Ministerial Credentials must be willing to defend their Call. Candidates are requested to provide a primary pastoral recommendation from their Senior Pastor, a current FOLOMI member, or another pastor of an established congregation. Your other references may include additional ministers, church elders, deacons or other lay leaders. Regarding your application, we will notify you of its receipt and begin processing it. We appreciate your interest in FOLOMI and desire to be an encouragement and help to you. Be encouraged and let us assist you After reviewing your application, we may request an interview with you before making an appropriate decision. Our credentials are recognized by Federal (IRS), State and U.S. Military Agencies. Our ministry-related support services are practical and we attempt to assist our members in areas where they cannot easily provide for themselves. The only cost associated with Ordination and Ministerial Credentials (other than initial membership fee) is an annual renewal fee.
MEMBERSHIP Every applicant must fully agree with the Doctorial Statement. Every applicant should be born-again and living a life that reflects the born-again experience. Every applicant must realize that he/she is a potential representative of Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries Inc. and must be willing to uphold a standard of Biblical behavior and our Code of Ethics. Every applicant must obey and honor a Monthly Contribution Pledge and obligation to continue in good standings with FOLOMI. Failure to do so will result in his/her being suspended from membership and Tax Exemption Status with the IRS. Every applicant must honor the non-refundable yearly membership fee. Our office must receive this fee before any application will be considered. These funds are payable in US funds only, by money order, personal checks, certified check will be accepted. Credit card payment is acceptable if the proper information is supplied through PayPal. Every applicant for Ordained Minister certification must pass a basic Bible knowledge test given by the FOLOMI Bishops Office. Every applicant should know that membership in Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries Inc. gives them greater access to our Foreign Missions department which is called International Fellowship of Charismatic Churches and Ministries. Every applicant should know that dismissal from Ordination would also result in the suspension of involvement with Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries Inc. and Tax Exemption Status with the Internal Revenue Service.
The Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries Inc. provides a professional association for those involved in pastoral care and counseling who seek to share a common ground with others who provide Christ-centered, biblical counseling to a hurting world. As a part of your membership, you will receive periodic email articles that will provide valuable information and tips to help in your ministry. Further, you will receive a discount on any training events and other services that the (FOLOMI) offer. There are three membership levels for the FOLOMI Ministerial Credentials :
The cost for membership is $25.00 one time set-up & $25.00 annually
This level of membership is for pastors, psychologists, psychiatrists, and counselors who use the Word of God as the foundation for counseling who may or may not hold a state license. The cost for membership is $50.00 one time set-up & $25.00 annually
This level of membership is for pastors, performing or holding as overseer in two (2) or more churches and ministries. The cost for membership is $100.00 one time set-up & $100.00 annually.
The Fountain of Life Outreach Ministries inc. is deeply concerned for those who serve as pastors Christian ministers and educators, as well as those provided Christian Counseling services. We recognize that your work can be extremely challenging and many of you face problems and feel that you have no safe place to go for help. It is for this reason that we have developed the PastorCare program, we hope to offer a forum where you can discuss your difficulties and challenges in a safe and even anonymous fashion. We also plan to provide access to counseling help as well. In an effort to design this program to best respond to your needs, we'd like to hear from you.
